Baptist Memorial Health Care’s metro-Memphis and Baptist North Mississippi volunteer coordinators pulled out all the stops to honor and thank their volunteers for their service.
Metro-Memphis volunteers were treated to a lunch at the Ridgeway Country Club that included entertainment, remarks from Baptist Vice President of Metro Operations Randy King and a keynote address from FOX 13 News anchor Mearl Purvis. The event honored 154 volunteers, including three who donated at least 10,000 hours of their time to a Baptist hospital.
Baptist North Mississippi honored its male volunteers with a Men’s Night at Ole Miss Baseball. Bill Henning, CEO and administrator, and Lila Herren, director of patient and visitor services, hosted the men in the Rebel’s Diamondclub Suite.
Female volunteers received gift cards to a popular Oxford restaurant.
