Angela Hamblen, clinical bereavement director of the Kemmons Wilson Family Center for Good Grief, recently was recognized as “a woman who has inspired, empowered, and enriched the life of Kait Redick (Angela’s nominator) as part of Women’s History Month at the University of Memphis.”
She and other inspiring women were honored at the University of Memphis’ Women’s History Month Closing Program and Reception.
Kait is one of hundreds of people who have attended Camp Good Grief, camps that help children, teens and adults deal with the loss of a loved one. Angela helped spearhead the development of these camps, and she continues to direct them.
