Help Baptist video win national contest

A video about Baptist’s Southern Heritage Classic campaign, “Is Your Heart in the Game?,” is one of 55 entries competing in the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship’s Film Festival. The videos showcase the profound impact companies can have in communities around the world.

Public voting is now open on the center website and will close at midnight on March 16. The 10 videos with the most votes will be considered by a panel of industry judges, who will select the 2015 winner.

Baptist’s and the American Heart Association’s “Is Your Heart in the Game” challenge pits fans of Tennessee State University against Jackson State University supporters. The six-month challenge encourages participants to monitor their health. Using the AHA’s Check Change Control software, participants self-monitor their blood pressure, weight and body mass index to keep track of how effective they are in improving their numbers. Anyone can participate by going to baptistonline.org/mostheart to register. The winning school will earn a $5,000 scholarship.
