New Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital opens

Facility is a partnership between Baptist and Centerre Healthcare

Baptist team members, Centerre Healthcare leadership, local politicians and others recently celebrated the grand opening of the Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital at the corner of Wolf River Boulevard and Germantown Parkway in Germantown, Tenn.

The 49-bed freestanding facility provides a wide range of clinical services for patients recovering from complex neurological conditions, strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic injuries, amputations and other conditions. To facilitate the treatment of these patients, the new hospital has all private rooms and contains specialty features such as a dedicated stroke unit, an Activity of Daily Living space, a mobility courtyard and an expansive therapy gym. The facility began accepting patients on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Duke Realty funded the construction of the new hospital, which is leased to the Baptist/Centerre partnership, a 55/45 partnership.
