Baptist president emeritus named ‘Memorable Memphian’

The Lipscomb Pitts Breakfast Club, a team of businesses working together to help enrich leaders and impact the community, recently honored Baptist President Emeritus Stephen Reynolds as a “Memorable Memphian” during its Signature Breakfast Series. Memorable Memphians are living legends who have contributed to Memphis’ success and have had a lasting impact for more than 40-50 years. Reynolds joins former Shelby County Mayor Bill Morris; Fred Davis, the first African-American chairman of the Memphis City Council and owner of one of the first African American-owned insurance agencies in the South; and attorney and former state and local politician Lewis Donelson as Memorable Memphian honorees.
