Baptist Union City Service First Champ continues excellent work, positive attitude during OR renovation

At a reception recently, Skipper Bondurant, administrator and CEO at Baptist Union City, recognized 24-year Baptist team member Geraldine Jenkins, a housekeeper, as Service First Champion for the third quarter of fiscal year 2014.

Geraldine’s nominator praised her, not only for doing her job well, but for doing it with a smile and a positive demeanor, even while taking on cumbersome tasks during an operating room renovation.

“During this time her positive attitude and loving nature has had a very positive influence on other departments as well as our patients,” Geraldine’s nominator said. “I have received comments from staff in other departments on how awesome she has been and also how they love to see her smiling face when they arrive each day.”
