Baptist University makes degrees more affordable for Baptist nurses

The Baptist Health Sciences University is starting a new tuition assistance program for Baptist nurses through the generous support of the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation. RNs interested in earning the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree can apply for the Foundation Education Assistance Program, which will begin during the spring 2015 term. The application deadline to Baptist University is Oct. 15, and up to 25 applicants will be accepted.

To be eligible for the FEAP program, nurses must first apply and be accepted to the Baptist Health Sciences University. Once accepted, nurses then apply at their entity through their nurse manager and/or chief nursing officer.

Baptist University also offers traditional tuition deferral programs for other selected majors, and all full-time Baptist nurses who enroll in the RN-BSN program beginning spring 2015 can receive a 10 percent tuition discount at the College.
