Baptist Union City donates to Hometown Walk of Hope in honor of physicians

Recently, Dr. Kofi Nuako, Baptist Union City’s medical staff president, and Skipper Bondurant, the hospital’s administrator and CEO, presented a $500 donation to Kim Bruer (left) and Lorraine Beachum, co-chairpersons for the Hometown Walk of Hope. The donation was made in honor of Baptist Union City’s medical staff, in recognition of National Doctors’ Day.

“Baptist Union City has a great medical staff who works tirelessly for their patients, and we wanted to present them with a gift that would help many of our families, friends, and neighbors in this community. The Hometown Walk of Hope is most deserving,” said Bondurant.

“On behalf of the medical staff, I thank Baptist for making this donation to such a worthwhile cause in honor of physicians,” said Dr. Nuako.

“Because our physicians are on the front lines in dealing with cancer in our community, we are very proud to receive this donation in their honor,” said Beachum.
