The Memphis Redbirds will host its annual “Strike Out Stroke Night” on Friday, May 30, to honor stroke survivors, raise awareness for the disease and raise money for Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp. During the game, which starts at 7:05 pm, fans will learn more about stroke, the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S., and hear first-hand how stroke has affected the lives of survivors. In addition, $4 from each ticket sold will benefit Baptist Memphis’ Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp, a weekend-long event that helps survivors and caregivers improve their quality of life.
