Baptist Booneville manager elected to MHA health care engineers board of directors

The Mississippi Hospital Association recently appointed Dan Gentry, Baptist Booneville’s facilities management and safety director, to the Board of Directors for Healthcare Engineers and Facility Managers.

The board oversees a network that addresses key issues within hospitals across the state.

James Grantham, CEO and administrator of Baptist Booneville, says the MHA board is a good fit for Gentry because he has overseen Baptist Booneville’s plant operations for 36 years.

“We understand that what matters most to patients at our hospital is safe, effective care,” Grantham said. “That’s one of the many reasons our hospital has leaders like Dan Gentry who help us achieve positive patient outcomes through day-to-day operations.”

Gentry holds certifications in facility management, safety and emergency preparedness and has been a member of MHA for 30 years.
