The Nightingale Awards distinguish those men, women and organizations that have made a special effort to excel in the area of health care.

“Randy’s nursing experience allows him to seamlessly manage a team, giving the best patient care possible,” said Walter Grace, administrator and CEO of Baptist Union County. “Randy is very deserving of this award.”

This year, more than 80 nurses and hospitals across the state were nominated in 15 different categories.

“I was honored to accept this award on behalf of each of our employees at Baptist Golden Triangle,” said Paul Cade, administrator and CEO of Baptist Golden Triangle. “I was extremely proud to represent each of them in front of a room full of health care professionals from across the state. This award is a testament to the hard work of our employees, physicians and volunteers to provide quality care to our patients and speaks volumes about the contributions they make to the health care of our community,” he added.
