Six Baptist Memorial hospitals – Baptist Booneville, Baptist Collierville, Baptist Memphis, Baptist Restorative Care Hospital, Baptist Union City and Baptist Union County – recently received Press Ganey awards.
Baptist Booneville, Baptist Collierville, Baptist Restorative Care, Baptist Union City and Baptist Union County all earned Guardian of Excellence Awards, which recognize top-performing hospitals that consistently scored in the 95th percentile for patient satisfaction, employee engagement, physician engagement or clinical quality. Baptist Memphis earned the Commitment to Excellence Award, which recognizes facilities with continuous improvement during a two-year span in patient satisfaction, employee engagement, physician engagement or clinical quality. Each year, fewer than 5 percent of all Press Ganey clients earn the Guardian of Excellence Award, and only 20 hospitals win the Commitment to Excellence Award.
“This is a tremendous accomplishment that shows how committed all our colleagues are to our hospitals’ success,” said Stephanie Clark, system director of customer experience for Baptist. “It starts with a commitment from leadership, which drives change to the hospitals. In addition, we have engaged employees who are dedicated to delivering the best patient care possible and to establishing positive relationships with doctors. All this leads to better outcomes, which is most important.”
