Since 1985, Baptist has been home to the Mid-South’s only adult heart transplant program, and physicians have performed 326 transplants to date. The Baptist Memphis heart transplant and ventricular assist device team engages a multi-disciplinary support system that integrates every aspect of advanced heart failure patients’ care.
