Open enrollment continues systemwide through Nov. 15, 2013. Entities throughout the organization are hosting a number of sessions to review all of Baptist’s benefit offerings for 2014. Most Baptist entities will also host benefit fairs so that colleagues have an opportunity to discuss their personal benefit elections with representatives from GuideStone, AFLAC, Aetna, Express Scripts, Davis Vision and others.
It is very important for all colleagues who want to have Baptist health insurance in 2014 to attend an open enrollment session because all health plan members will have to re-enroll in a health benefit, even if they choose the same 80/20 plan they already have. Colleagues who are currently enrolled in the health plan who do not make a plan election or who fail to cancel their coverage if they no longer want to keep their health benefits by Nov. 15, 2013, will automatically be defaulted into the new Consumer Driven Health Plan effective Jan. 1, 2014. Colleagues can choose their benefit elections by going to the Employee Self Service intranet site anytime before Nov. 15, 2013.
For more information about any of the 2014 Baptist benefits, including the health insurance options, please be sure to attend one of the open enrollment meetings.
