Physician leaders, Baptist colleagues partner to enhance patient care

Several Baptist colleagues and physician leaders recently attended a conference to learn more about Crimson, an Internet platform that collects and combines physicians’ quality data into one report to enhance quality and reduce patient re-admissions. Physicians who are part of Select Health Alliance will use Crimson. More than 400 physicians from 42 specialties are participating in the alliance, a physician-led, physician-controlled initiative to enhance quality and create efficiencies in all aspects of patient care. The Select Health Alliance is the first in this area that will allow physicians, not insurance companies, to set performance standards.
