Union County Service First Champion makes sure patients’ needs are met

Jacob Baggett, Food and Nutrition services representative, was recently named Service First Champion for the second quarter at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County.

Baggett was nominated by several colleagues from different nursing units.

“Jacob goes above and beyond to make sure our patients are satisfied before leaving every room,” wrote Lamanda Fisher and Kaylee Butler. “He always has a smile on his face and words of encouragement for everyone—from patients to his co-workers.”

Mary Beth Hardy wrote, “Jacob is always nice, always friendly, and always striving to serve all around him.”

“Always” was listed on every nomination for Baggett. Colleagues also praised him for making sure patients and co-workers have everything they need. This speaks volumes about Jacob’s character and commitment to Service First.
