On Thursday, April 25 at noon, NEA Baptist Clinic will host a ribbon cutting and open house for its new Dialysis Center location. The Dialysis Center, located at 4909 E. Johnson Ave, is located near the construction site of the new NEA Baptist medical campus.
Like the new NEA Baptist medical campus, the NEA Baptist Clinic Dialysis Center was designed and built with the patient experience in mind. The location will provide ease and convenience to many patients who drive from outside of Jonesboro each week to receive treatments. Each aspect of the building was designed to create a spacious, calming area for the patients.
The large individual patient treatment areas for in-center hemodialysis face a peaceful healing garden, featuring beautiful landscaping and fountains.
The center is also equipped with advanced water treatment system to ensure that patients receive the best quality of care. There are a total of 12 patient stations, giving the facility the capacity to see up to 66 patients per day if needed.
A team of qualified professionals staff the NEA Baptist Clinic Dialysis Center, and they are available to answer questions and to improve quality of life. The team includes nephrologists, Michael Mackey, MD, Adam Woodruff, MD, and Sara Culbreath, APN, along with registered nurses, master social workers, registered dietitians and treatment nurses.
The center provides patient education, home therapy (PD), and in-center hemodialysis and will soon be expanding services.
The existing Dialysis Center, located at 3005 Middlefield, will continue to stay open for the convenience of patients.
