Baptist Technology Services goes back to school, too

Starting in July, Baptist Technology Services’ Giving Back Committee got ready for school—indirectly.

Once again, the July giving back project involved a whole lot of hearts and hands dedicated to getting local kids ready for the new school year.

During July, the group collected all kinds of school supplies, including backpacks. In early August, several team members gathered and filled 59 backpacks for kids from the Lester Community Center. In addition to the backpacks, BTS collected enough supplies to fill three additional boxes. These supplies will be on hand to be distributed throughout the year.

Through the generosity of Baptist team members, the supplies helped 18 elementary school kids, 28 middle school kids and 13 high school students.

Kudos for a job well done!
