Engaging our providers

Jason Little

Next week, we will begin surveying another group whose contributions are important to our success: our providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other advanced practice professionals).

We learn so much from the feedback we receive from our Provider Engagement Survey and have implemented a number of new initiatives based on providers’ responses. I’m eager to find out if these programs are working and if providers have other suggestions for making Baptist a great place to practice medicine.

I wanted to tell about the survey so you’ll know that we care about our providers and seek their opinions about Baptist. We have had a great response rate for the past two years, and we want even more providers to complete this year’s survey. Our human resources and corporate communications teams, physician liaisons, hospital CEOs and chief medical officers, Baptist Medical Group leadership and our senior leadership team will be encouraging our providers to complete the survey. We would love for you to help us in this effort.

Surveys are an important tool because they tell us what’s important to the people who mean the most to us—you, our providers and our patients. Thank you to everyone who has taken a few moments to complete our surveys. I believe they have helped make us better.
