Easier Access to Emotional Support

By now, I hope you all know about CONCERN, our free employee assistance program that provides free counseling and support to you and others living in your household. I’m pleased to tell you that access to this important service is now more convenient than ever.

CONCERN now offers video visits, and you can meet with counselors on your computer, smart phone or tablet through Baptist OneCare© MyChart. It’s safe, secure and does not integrate with your medical record. We’re piloting the service in Shelby County, Tennessee, but we plan to expand it to team members systemwide.

Whether or not you’re in Shelby County, you can still benefit from the valuable services CONCERN provides. Counselors can help you – or anyone living with you – navigate family or relationship problems, grief, psychological stress, alcohol or drug abuse, or other emotional situations that arise in life. Each member of CONCERN’s staff is a licensed, experienced counselor or clinical social worker. And your privacy is strictly guarded.

If you’re in Shelby County and would like to try CONCERN’s video visit service, you must have a MyChart account. If you don’t have one, go mychart.baptistonecare.org to sign up for one. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a CONCERN counselor, you can call (901) 458-4000 if you’re in the Memphis area or (800) 445-5011 if you’re outside the Memphis area.

If you’re going through a rough time, I hope you reach out to CONCERN. You give so much to our organization every day. You deserve a program that works just as hard to give you emotional support when you need it.
