Help support Camp Good Grief with the Great American River Run

Join the fun on Sunday, May 28, for the second annual Memphis in May Great American River Run Half Marathon and 5K to be held in downtown Memphis. Sponsored by Baptist, all team members – runners and non-runners alike – are encouraged to participate by running or buying a Baptist race shirt. All shirt proceeds will directly benefit Camp Good Grief.

Baptist will host warm-up exercises with USA Bobsled athlete Sable Otey, a stretching session and a photo booth.

The race course will take participants along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River and through downtown Memphis. The half marathon runners who finish will receive a medal. Both races are designed for all levels – from elite athletes to the beginning runner.

In addition, all runners registered in the Great American River Run will receive free entry to 901Fest. Packed with local musicians, food, vendors, merchandise and more, 901Fest will be held Saturday, May 27.

The Baptist dry fit shirt will be available in several sizes with prices ranging from $15 to $18. To purchase a shirt, visit Bluffcitysports.com/bmhcc. Deadline for purchase is May 14.
